1) What if I'm a part of a group of DJ's? Can we still compete?
The open category is for individual DJs only. If you wish to participate as a group of DJs please check the Pro Championship page.2) I'm a new DJ, does that still qualify me to enter?
There is no limit on experience levels! Submit your mix and keep your fingers crossed! If its good enough you will get an email saying you have made it through to the regional prelims.3) I only mix on software. What do I do?
The contest is open only to hardware based DJs. If you would still like to compete record your mix on hardware and upload it! You just might make it through.4) What if I want my family and all to come to the regional finals?
You will be given passes for your supporters. The more support you have the better! Bring them all! Do remember though - some venues might have an age restriction. Check with the venue before hand.5) I am not familiar with this hardware, what do I do?
Ask a buddy to help you get accustomed to the hardware prescribed and get cracking on that mix!6) I made a mistake in my entry form.

Once the mix is uploaded there can be no changes! Sorry!8) How do I know if I have qualified?
You will get an email notification as well as a phone call! Stay tuned.9) What are the prizes?
They're mentioned on the page after the website landing page.10) Who are the judges?
The judging panel includes John 00 Fleming (UK), Nikhil Chinapa, DJ Pearl, Arjun Vagale (Jalebee Cartel), Tuhin Mehta (Pioneer Professional DJ), Sanjay Dutta and Asad Zaidi. Every event will have at least 3 judges from this panel.11) I am confused about which region to apply from. I do not live in any of the cities mentioned in the form.
Pick the city closest to you and apply!12) What constitutes Nationality/Age Proof and how do I send it to you?
If you make it through to the regional prelims you will need to bring in your passport copy / govt ID as age and nationality proof. 13) What happens if my mix is very slightly over the limit?
Shouldn't be a problem!14) How do I check my mix's file size? How do I reduce it?

Zip files and any archive file formats are not allowed.16) How do I know that my entry form and other stuff uploaded properly?
You will get an email confirmation once it's uploaded correctly. Please note there may be a few minutes delay in receiving the email.17) What is the eligibility criterion?
The contest is open to Indian nationals over the age of 18 as on August 14th 2010.18) Is there an age limit?
You need to be at least 18 years or older! No upper limit!19) Do I need to be an Indian national?
Yes you do.20) I am married to an Indian. Can I enter?

23) What genres of music can I use for my mix and in my DJ set if I am selected?
You can use anything in the electronic dance music spectrum i.e. House, Trance, Techno, Dubstep, Drum n Bass etc. Please note: No Bollywood or Desi is allowed. No Hip-hop either.24) Can I use samples of Copyright and licensed tracks?

25) Will transportation and stay be provided if I qualify for any of the DJ rounds?
Contestants will have to make their own arrangements for transportation to and from the event venue as well as for their stay.26) What are the dates of the event?

Yes! If you are one of the lucky 20 to qualify from your region your mix will be uploaded on the website and streamed for people to listen to.28) What will the judges base their decisions on / What parameters will DJ sets be judged on?
The sets will be judged on the following parameters - content, flow, technical skill, musical knowledge, presence behind the console and knowledge.29) How will the mix uploaded for the contest be judged?
Some of the parameters include content (track selection), flow, technical skill, musical knowledge.30) Will this event be telecast?
It is likely to be telecast and we require all contestants who are shortlisted to sign a standard video release form in case of such an eventuality.31) What equipment will I be provided with at the Regionals & Nationals?
